the house opposite friendship hotel, near Edna Mall. |
- while i drew this house, a man came and sat next to me. He showed me some of his drawings. All, nude females, in pencil. (They were all google images, some of them were even watermarked).I complimented him on his skill.
This is very methodical , almost a disciplinary excercise. Things I find interesting are
ReplyDelete1: The dates: reminds me of archeological data collection but in that case I would like to see more data. Kinda like discovering a house one brick, a piece of wood at a time.
2. The placement of stamp dates along with the house kinda seems like the measuring/scale stick used in archeological findings.
3. I have always thought that these inverted V shaped roof houses are a colonial import.
4. In one case you are describing the house from the inside but you are outside. You are making assumptions. Kinda like annalysing or making assumptions about a past civilization based on ? Or is it more like fictional novel inwhich you are discovering new spaces.
I guess I'm just blabbering now :p
