Each day, i will; make a house. For how long? Not sure!

questions for myself;

- How important is the craftsmanship/quality of the houses?

- How important is the photograph to me?

- Is the photograph the final work?

- If the photograph is the final work, why don't i make ephemeral houses?

- How important is the physicality of the object?

- (so far, the physical object is important, even the houses that I left behind, are kind of permanent (unless they are intentionally undone - also their photo is printed on a scale of 4" by 6", perhaps to become a postcard in future). So far, the photograph is not the final work but a document of the work).

- What is the relevance of the 'blog' as a medium?

(I only started to use it, to give myself a structure, which would help me be regular and consistent, but now I can't ignore it as a medium with its own meanings attached to it. So then, does the work need to exist outside of the blog?).

- How important is the quality of the photographs?

- Most of the houses so far are borrowed from found images without any reference?

(sometimes I draw houses from my surroundings and photograph the drawing in front of that house, or draw houses that i have lived in (from memory), or google images by typing 'house' or 'beautiful house')

- the form of the houses probably needs some thought put into it?

(but not every house everyday for 2 years can have a thought put into, it can/should be more mechanical, no?)

- Is 1 or 2 years or however long my stay in Addis is, a good enough structure for this project?

(not sure. Considering making it lifelong,).

- what does it do for the viewer? what do i want it to do, to the viewer? Does the work need a description? What aspects are tiring or boring or uninteresting? What is interesting?
